Duel of the Fates

(1999)

from STAR WARS EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE

Music by John Williams
Lyrics inspired by Cad Goddeu ("The Battle of the Trees"), a sixth-century Welsh poem

John Williams used two lines from this poem (edited by Robert Graves) which he had translated into several languages and chose Sanskrit because he liked the way the vowels sounded.
